The kids and I made this project a while back. We use it as their daily 'To-Do' List. They wanted to create their own pictures and job sticks, but if they didnt want to I probably would have printed clip art and then laminated them all so that they were more permanent.
All you need is:
Two Empty and Clean Cans
Scrapbook Paper
Glue
Ribbon
Popsicle Sticks
It is a pretty self explanatory project. Just measure, cut, glue and draw.

How clever - it gives them a visual of where they are at in the day!! I love it and when you or they get tired of the look you can make new ones!
